When a public tender for a fire service swap body vehicle for the city of Germersheim became known in the summer of 2019, it was clear to us at F&B that we wanted to fulfill our regional responsibility and identity.
It was with great anticipation that we received the contract as general contractor for the production and delivery of a Fire brigade swap body vehicle. A responsibility we share at F&B Self-confidence and full concentration on the fulfillment of customer requirements follow and already attach a certain routine and experience to it allowed to. Because in recent years we have been able to expand our expertise in the area of fire brigade but also municipal technology.
This requires high technical Competence, especially in production, which is managed by our production manager Mr. Fremgen and his production team is ensured day after day. Our Know-how from project planning to technical elaboration to Production under the highest quality standards is the basis for fulfilling the customer requests. Therefore, it is always a great joy on the day of the Vehicle handover not only satisfied customers, but also proud employees to see.
The conversion and construction at F&B included classic fire brigade-specific scopes such as the installation of special signaling technology, e.g. the blue light system, the siren system, front flashers and work lights. The fire-fighting expansion includes the entire electronic installation from the vehicle radio system to ensuring the electrical connection of the hookloader. A particular challenge in the technical planning of the conversion and construction is the small space requirement on the vehicle chassis, which is why the design of the storage space, e.g. the storage boxes for storing and loading the fire-fighting equipment, is of particular importance.
The final individual foiling and vehicle lettering leave the vehicle on the road by anyone as a fire engine recognize. A Mercedes Arocs 2545 L completed by F&B Nutzfahrzeug-Technik as a fire engine for our immediate surroundings in Germersheim.
Another successfully completed project than General contractor once again proves the technical and methodical competence, as well the high sense of responsibility towards the partners of F&B and ultimately towards the customer.
